"A little Secret Courage..."
Alex is 13 years old. She had never
fired a gun before. She passed the
shooting course with her first 16 shots!
If Alex can do it,
YOU CAN TOO!
Ladies, do any of the following apply to you:

* Are you afraid to walk to your car alone?
* Do you avoid shopping at night?
* Are you concerned about the neighborhood you live in?
* Do you worry about your safety when walking or gogging
?

If so, maybe it's time for a little "Secret Courage"!
The purpose of this site is NOT to get you to buy a gun!
It's to educate you about the proper selection,
ownership, use and storage of a hangun and
ammunition.

Once you get all of the facts in a safe, fun environment,
you can make your OWN decision about whether or not
ownership of a handgun is right for you. You don't need
a gun to take this class! We provide everything!
Donna refuses to be a victim!
A friend of mine who lives in a rather nice community
recently told me she was worried about walking her
little dog at night. While not a paranoid person, she
had a revelation that there were so many dark places
for "creeps" to hide as she walked along. I admired
her for not walking around with blinders on as we
often do. She was making simple observations about
her own safety.
Shannon prepares to fire a .40
caliber handgun.
Randy works with a student
firing a .357 Magnum.
The topic of owning a handgun came up as a result of
my being an NRA pistol instructor. As I explained the
benefits of carrying a concealed handgun my friend
seemed nervous and unsure. Her mother chimed in and
said: "It's kind of like having a little secret courage." For
all of my experience, statistics, and stories, I could never
have said it better.
The world we live in can be a very dangerous place.
Most of us try not to think about it. Yet a savvy
person takes certain precautions to protect
themselves and their loved ones. For example many
of us have smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in
our homes, cars, boats & RV's. The chances of
actually needing them are slim, but we are ready just
the same.

Does that makes us paranoid? Does it ruin the way
we live or look at the world? Does being ready to
protect ourselves mean we have a jaded view of
society? Of course not. It simply means we are
savvy, educated adults, taking responsibility for our
own safety.
Shooting is fun!
So why is there this perceived cloud of gloom and
doom over responsible ownership of a handgun?
Who is it that came up with the bright idea of waiting
for the police during a violent attack or crime? Why
should we be any less inclined to protect ourselves
while waiting for the police to arrive? What is the
difference between a fire raging toward your child's
bedroom or a hell-bent criminal raging toward your
child's bedroom? Are you any less likely to protect
the people you love from criminals than you are a
fire?

Do you really think that
knife, baseball bat, or
pepper spray is really
going to scare anybody?

You're kidding, right?
You're betting your
LIFE
on it!
Let's pretend the police could be anywhere on the planet
earth within 3 minutes. For the next 3 minutes I want you
to sit there, close your eyes, and imagine what an attacker
could do to you or a loved one in that time. Go ahead....
tic-toc, tic-toc, tic-toc. Horrifying, isn't it?
Because when seconds count, the police are only minutes away!
Why should you own a handgun?
I have kids! I
can't have a
gun in my
house!
Bull! A bio safe has a
thumb print scanner on
it. You can keep your
safe under the bed, in
the closet or in a drawer.
When you need your
handgun, you simply
place your thumb on the
reader. The safe scans
your thumb print and
only opens if it's you!

Unauthorized persons
such as your KIDS,
relatives, visitors or
thieves cannot get to
your gun!

"If violent crime is to be curbed,
it is only the intended victim who
can do it. The felon does not fear
the police, and he fears neither
judge nor jury. Therefore what
he must be taught to fear is his
victim." -
